This May 2026 update introduces an AI-powered invite generator, human-readable URLs, and numerous enhancements and bug fixes.

Welcome to our May 2026 update. We have been busy enhancing Simcha Tracker with new features and improvements to make your simcha planning even smoother.

What's new

Invite Generator

Our new AI-powered invite generator offers six premium designs, including Floral Classic and Velvet & Gold. You can download invites as PNGs or share them directly via WhatsApp.

Human-Readable Event URLs

Events now have clean, human-readable URLs, such as /spitz-friedman/wedding, making them easier to share and remember.

QR Code Sheet on Event Detail Page

A QR code sheet is now available directly on the event detail page, users can now print out a QR Code and place it at their Simcha and guests can scan the QR code with their phone and easily send a gift.

Partner Stores Marquee on Homepage

Discover our partner stores more easily with a new marquee section on the Simcha Tracker homepage.

Contact Rows in User Profile

Manage your contacts more efficiently with dedicated contact rows in your user profile.

Manage Event Drawer

A new three-dot menu, the Manage Event drawer, provides quick access to event management options.

App Social Card (OG Meta Tags)

We've added OG meta tags to improve how your event links appear when shared on social media.

Auto Gifting-Closed Email

Event creators will now automatically receive an email when gifting closes, including a clear call to action to redeem gifts.

We have extensively polished invite styles, now featuring event-specific themes, support for dual parents, custom intros, and icons for each event type.

Redemption Emails Redesigned

Redemption emails have been redesigned to better match our gift card branding, providing a more cohesive experience.

Redemption Status Page Enhancements

The redemption status page now includes live relative timestamps (e.g., "5 min ago") and a clickable "REDEEMED" button that opens a ticket-stub view.

Auth Pages Centered on Tablet

Authentication pages are now consistently centered on tablet devices for an improved visual experience.

Header Buttons Spacing Fixed

We have fixed the spacing of header buttons on the event detail page for a cleaner look.

Event Notes Displayed on Detail Page

Event notes are now clearly displayed on the event detail page for easy reference.

Invite Sheet Layout Restructured

The invite sheet layout has been restructured with sticky footer buttons for better usability.

WhatsApp Share Cleaned Up

WhatsApp sharing has been cleaned up by removing the social card, simplifying the shared content.

App Freezing on Skeleton Loaders

Issues causing the app to freeze on skeleton loaders have been addressed with improved auth timeout safety and query abort logic.

We fixed a crash on the event detail page that occurred with certain edge-case name formats.
