Simchas From Your Contacts

Simcha Tracker can show you Simchas posted by people in your phone's contacts. This makes it easy to discover celebrations from family, friends, and community members without scrolling through public feeds.

How it works

You verify your phone number in Simcha Tracker. You choose to match your contacts. Simcha Tracker securely checks which phone numbers in your contacts are also using the app. When one of your contacts posts a Simcha, it appears in your From Your Contacts feed.

What information is shared?

Only that a contact posted a Simcha. We do not share your full contact list, and other users cannot see your contacts. Matching happens privately and securely.

Can I turn it off?

Yes. You can disable contact discovery at any time in your profile or settings. If you turn it off, your contacts will no longer see your Simchas in their contact feed, and you will not see theirs.

Do both people need to be in each other's contacts?

For the best results, yes. Both users should have each other's phone numbers saved in their contacts and have contact discovery enabled.

Is this required to use Simcha Tracker?

No. Contact discovery is optional. You can still create, share, and discover Simchas without it.
